Hopes raised in 2019 of municipal counter-hegemony in Hungary have been disappointed. But in Budapest, the idea of progressive local government is kept alive by the movement for housing justice.

Educator and social justice organizer, she is the co-founder of numerous grassroots organizations including The City is for All, Streetlawyer and From Streets to Housing Association. Currently the president of the School of Public Life and the head of the Office of Community Participation at the Municipality of the 8th district of Budapest.
