Shlomo Avineri

is Professor of Political Science at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, member of the Israel Academy of Sciences and Humanities and Recurring Visiting Professor at the Central European University in Budapest. He served as director-general of Israel’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the cabinet of Yitzhak Rabin.
