Belarusian writer. Her novel What Is It You Seek, Wolf? – published under the pseudonym Jeva Viežnaviec – received international recognition after its appearance in German translation (Residenz Verlag). In 2021 she became the first woman to be awarded the prestigious Jerzy Giedroyć Prize for Belarusian Literature.
