The EU constitution covers three interrelated dimensions: Constitutional principles, constitutionalising processes and constitutional culture, all of which are shaped through the all-encompassing context of contemporary globalisation. On this basis Snyder asks whether the EU will ever have a “finished” constitution and proposes ways towards a fundamental reformulation of our concepts of the constitution.
