Anna Karpenko
is an independent social researcher from Kaliningrad. She studied political science and sociology at the Moscow School of Social and Economic Sciences in and received her M.A. in Political Science from the University of Manchester. Her Ph.D. (Institute of Philosophy, Russian Academy of Sciences, 2008) was about political and social aspects of regional identity in Kaliningrad.
