Andrey Kurkov

is a Ukrainian novelist who writes in Russian. He is the author of numerous novels​,​ and books for children. His work ​has been translated into more than 25 languages, including English, Japanese, French, Chinese, Swedish and Hebrew. He is the Vice President of the Ukrainian Centre of the International PEN Club.
